Position Overview:

Forum Asset Management is looking for Software Developer Interns to help build data-driven applications that power decision-making across Forum’s investment and real estate platforms.

In this role, you’ll work on full-stack development projects that sit on top of our next-generation data platform. You’ll contribute to building internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights.

This is a hands-on, in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams to deliver high-impact software solutions. This posting is for an existing vacancy at Forum.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools across the business.
Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems.
Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets.
Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools.
Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.

Candidate Profile:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java).
Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles.
Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience with full-stack frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Interest in data-driven applications or analytics tools.
