Position Overview:
Forum Asset Management is looking for Software Developer Interns to help build data-driven applications that power decision-making across Forum’s investment and real estate platforms.
In this role, you’ll work on full-stack development projects that sit on top of our next-generation data platform. You’ll contribute to building internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on, in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams to deliver high-impact software solutions. This posting is for an existing vacancy at Forum.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools across the business.
- Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets.
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools.
- Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.
Candidate Profile:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java).
- Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with full-stack frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Interest in data-driven applications or analytics tools.
